Later, there will be a panel on “Performers and managers for contemporary music” and the creative workshop “Looking Ahead”, with the participation of keyboardist and researcher Pepe Gavilondo and Ensemble Interactivo de La Habana.
Cuba’s Casa de Las Americas will host a double function of the festival, an encounter that will take place in the institution’s two main halls.
The 35th edition of the Havana Contemporary Music Festival is sponsored by UNEAC and the Cuban Institute of Music.
The inaugural concert was held on October 28 at the Basílica Menor del Convento de San Francisco de Asís, in Old Havana, with Italian guitarist Elena Zucchini as the international guest.
