According to the latest report on the humanitarian situation, the Ministry said that 6,400 people were killed in the Gaza Strip, the target of a wave of bombings over the last 19 days.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank, 104 people have died as a result of actions by Israeli settlers and soldiers.
The text noted that 70 percent of the dead are children, elderly people and women.
The Health Ministry warned about an increase in cases of smallpox, scabies and diarrhea in the area as a result of the sanitary crisis and the consumption of water from contaminated sources, following Israel’s decision to block supplies of water and fuel for water purification plants.
The Ministry also criticized Israel for carrying out at least 69 attacks on healthcare facilities, 12 of which were knocked out of service, including the International Ophthalmology, Dar Al-Salam, Al-Yemen Al-Saeed, Psychiatric, and Al-Durra Children’s hospitals.
The air raids also killed 73 medical workers and injured more than 100, in addition to destroying or damaging 50 ambulances, the Ministry stressed.
