During the 4th session of the 39th Legislature, Porras referred to the advances in caring women with breast cancer, and recalled that in 2006 the then neoliberal government only made 50 mammograms, while in 2023 the current Executive has made over 69,480.

In this regard, Porras explained that Nicaragua has 43 mammographs distributed into all Departments, in addition to 23 cytopathology labs to confirm breast cancer; as well as 353 ultrasound equipment.
