The aircraft, belonging to the Long-Range Aviation, one of the branches of the nuclear triad of the Russian Federation, were escorted by the crews of Su-35S fighter aircraft from the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation,” the military department reported on its official website.

Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylash, commander of Long-Range Aviation, noted that “the flights were made in strict compliance with international standards on the use of the airspace, and the entire time the planes flew over neutral waters.”
