In an article reproduced by KCNA, Ri Kwang Song points out that Washington’s policy and its military and moral support for Israel cruelly violate the Palestinians’ rights under the pretext of ensuring peace in the region.

Ri also states that one of the US goals is to lay siege to Iran and other Arab countries that do not bow to its dictates, which removes the possibility of solving the Palestinian problem and darkens peace possibilities in the Middle East.

The columnist does not rule out that the US Government is trying to link the DPRK to the conflict as some media outlets are spreading false rumors about using “North Korean-made weapons” in the attacks on Israel.

Ri called on the international community to condemn Washington’s double standards, often practiced, most recently in Ukraine, as part of a hegemonic strategy to become the United States’ sole superpower.
