Friday, the Ukrainian authority informed on Telegram that “according to military intelligence reports, the enemy moved reserves from a hot spot in the front area towards Avdeyevka, where an offensive by the Russian army is underway.”
Gaguin explained that Kiev’s decision would not affect the most complicated sectors of the front. “The act is reckless and almost useless. Relocating reserves from one area to another will not lead (them) to victories, but to further losses of troops,” he asserted.
He also expressed that the Russian army continues attacking Ukrainian positions in Avdeyevka, and declared that the Ukrainian forces abandoned several positions on the first line of defense in Avdeyevka, a town still under the control of Ukraine.
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Aleksei Goncharenko acknowledged that the Ukrainian units in Avdeyevka are in a very difficult situation.
