The embassy of the Caribbean nation in Ulaanbaatar informed Prensa Latina, that the Cuban diplomat had recently met with Bat-Erdene Badmaanyambuu, president of the Mongolia-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, minister and president of the National Committee for the Olympic Movement, Physical Activities and Sports.

In a friendly atmosphere, the two men had discussed the legislative activity of the two nations, bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, as well as links in sports.

The parties agreed that their countries share long-standing historical relations of friendship and cooperation in several areas and expressed their common will to carry out concrete actions to strengthen sports relations between the Parliamentary Friendship Groups and the respective legislatures.

The Cuban ambassador also talked with musicians of the outstanding Bayanmongol Jazz Group of the State Philharmonic about the possibilities of cultural exchanges with the island.
