The curtains will be raised in the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater where we can appreciate the interpretation of these works framed in the cycle Legends of this Jubilee Season that will run until October 28.

The role of Carmen, by Alberto Alonso, will be performed by prima ballerinas Grettel Morejón (12), Anette Delgado (13), Sadaise Arencibia (14) and Viengsay Valdés (15), accompanied by Ányelo Montero and Dani Hernández, alternately, as Don José.
Bodas de sangre will feature a large cast of leading figures, including prima ballerinas Viengsay Valdés, Sadaise Arencibia and Grettel Morejón, as well as first dancer Dani Hernández, Chavela Riera, Ariel Morilla, and two guest artists from the Ballet Español de Cuba: Eduardo Arango and Daniel Martínez.
Under the general direction of Viengsay Valdés, the BNC’s 75th anniversary season began on October 6 and will last until October 28, the date of the gala for the company’s founding anniversary created in 1948 by Alicia Alonso, Fernando Alonso and Alberto Alonso.
The schedule of performances is as follows: Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. local time, Sundays at 5:00 p.m. local time, and particularly on Saturday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. local time.
