The meeting was held at the Miraflores Palace, headquarters of the Government, and responds to Maduro’s desire to revive energy cooperation between Caracas and Tegucigalpa, according to a press release from the Presidency.
Tejada was accompanied by the Honduran ambassador to Venezuela, Scarleth Romero.
Maduro and his counterpart from Honduras, Xiomara Castro, held a meeting in Havana,during the Summit of the Group of 77 and China, during which they reviewed issues of bilateral cooperation and regional integration to reinforce the unity and development of both nations.
According to the source, Venezuela ratified the will to strengthen cooperation and brotherhood agreements with Honduras for the benefit of both countries.
