India ratifies its willingness to provide technology for global union

New Delhi, Sep 26 (Prensa Latina) India ratified its willingness to provide its technology to countries without digital development so as to make the Internet a facilitator of transformation, resilience, security and trust.

During the South-South Knowledge Exchange Series virtual conference, organized by the World Bank, the Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of India to the continuity of cooperation with nations that require the Internet.

So far, India has signed memorandums of understanding with almost eight countries to share their technological programs, the official recalled during the event. He also mentioned India’s potential as an inspiring model for African countries.

Chandrasekhar shared the path taken to achieve the development of this infrastructure and its positive impact on the lives of its citizens.

“Using technology to improve people’s lives and governance, as well as to provide opportunities to youth and entrepreneurs has been the focus of the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.

Chandrasekhar assured that countries with little progress in digitization can benefit from the Global DPI Repository, and ratified the interest of the government of India in sharing its experiences and collaborating with other nations.
