“Cowardice and powerlessness have always been breeding grounds for terrorism. The vandalistic act of throwing Molotov cocktails at Cuba’s diplomatic mision in the United States of America confirms the rule,” the Association said in a statement.
It emphasized that terrorists are those who, deludedly, believe that with the destruction of a building or even with the assassinations of innocents they can change the course of history.
“They ignore that it is the people who build it,” the Association stressed, and regretted that “there are still deluded people who think that throwing a lit bottle of gasoline can do more than the arms of a people determined to fight for their Revolution.”
The group of Cuban residents referred to Apostle José Martí, who affirmed, “Cowards hit the muzzle of a gun and vanish with the smoke of gunpowder. The energetic ones, although they are unraveling inwardly like a rosary whose thread is broken, throw their hands behind their backs to the plow or the pen, and with the ruins of themselves, they found.”
On Sunday night, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez informed that the Cuban Embassy in the United States had been the target of a terrorist attack by an individual who threw two Molotov cocktails at the building.
