According to Díaz-Canel on X social media, he met and held stalks with Dongyu about the significance of using both science and innovation to strengthen the food systems of all nations of the South, an issue widely debated at the Summit.
Dongyu, on the other hand, expressed his satisfaction at being present in Cuba and attending this global and majestic event that has promoted the use of science and innovation as a way to clamp down on hunger on the planet.
On Saturday morning, the Cuban leader held bilateral meetings with heads of UN agencies, as well as with leaders and representatives of delegations from Asian, African and Latin American countries attending the meeting.
