Some 100 heads of State and Government are participating in this two-day forum.

According to Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, the meeting will discuss the main challenges and key issues being faced by the nations in the South.

Cuba assumed the pro tempore presidency of the Group in January 2023, and the meeting of this mechanism is taking place under the theme “Current Development Challenges: Role of Science, Technology, and Innovation.”
