Cuba congratulates Central American countries on national holidays

Havana, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuba congratulated the nations of Central America on the occasion of their national holidays.

In its X-Twitter profile, the island’s Foreign Ministry ratified the will to continue consolidating ties of friendship and cooperation with Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Costa Rica.

The signing of the Act of Independence on September 15, 1821, by the Captaincy General of Guatemala, then formed by those current countries, sealed the separation from the Spanish Empire.
