The Cuban flag, banners demanding the end of the economic, commercial and financial siege against Cuba and the image of the eternal guerrilla leader Ernesto Che Guevara predominate several stands in the three-day event, organized for the second consecutive year in the former air base of Plessis-Paté, in the department of Essonne.
Among the activities planned is the launching by the French Communist Party (PCF) of a campaign of political and economic support for Cuba in its struggle against the blockade.
The national secretary of the PCF, Fabien Roussel, and deputy André Chassaigne, president of the France-Cuba Friendship Group of the National Assembly, confirmed their participation in the launching this afternoon.
The Cuba Coopération France (CubaCoop) association will host tomorrow a forum with the presence of European personalities and organizations to outline new actions of solidarity with Cuba.
