The press release indicated that Abinader is scheduled to arrive in Havana Friday morning at the José Martí International Airport.
According to the official source, the Dominican leader will take the floor at around 11:30 a.m., local time, before representatives of over a hundred delegations attending the meeting, including more than thirty heads of state and government.
The Summit will be held under the topic: “The current challenges of development: the role of science, technology and innovation”.
Foreign Minister Roberto Álvarez, Administrative Minister of the Presidency José Ignacio Paliza and Higher Education, Science and Technology Minister Franklin García Fermín will also travel to Havana.
