In a statement, it was recalled that such a DACA program impacts over 580,000 people, the vast majority are Mexican.
DACA beneficiaries have contributed significantly to the economic, social and cultural development in the United States, and represent an invaluable link to our country, the statement read.
It warned the judicial process involved in such a decision will be closely monitored in order to keep the Dreamers and their families up to date on the situation.
Through the consular network in the United States, consular assistance and protection actions will be reinforced for these people through legal assistance, immigration diagnoses and possible economic support based on the needs of each case.
The Mexican Government, through its Foreign Secretariat, will provide support to DACA beneficiaries through the External Legal Advice Program, and invites compatriots to approach the nearest Mexican consulate to obtain official and reliable information.
