In a letter sent to Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada, Guerrero unfolded that Judge Carlos Guerra was elected CCJ President from September 2023 to June 2024.
The letter detailed that Guerra took office as set out in article 17 of the statutes agreement of the CCJ, after his predecessor Carlos Humberto Midence ceased to be president of the entity.
The CCJ is the main and permanent judicial body of the Central American Integration System.
