Arms deliveries to Ukraine will not change situation on the front

Moscow, Sep 12 (Prensa Latina) New deliveries of more weapons to Ukraine will not change the situation on the front line, Russian President Vladimir Putin said today in a speech at the Eastern Economic Forum.

‘Will it change anything? I don’t think so.

I am sure it won’t.

Will it delay it? Yes, it will delay it.

Another concern is that there will be no limitations,’ Putin stressed, the official Kremlin website reported Tuesday.

He recalled that ‘not so long ago, the US administration believed that the use of cluster munitions was a war crime, they said so publicly’.

‘Now they themselves are supplying the war zone in Ukraine with cluster munitions,’ Putin noted.

The head of state stressed that the United States will start the election process next November and that ‘they need to show some result at any cost, and they are putting pressure on Ukrainians to continue military actions’.

In turn, the Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, described as very bad news the decision of the United States to supply the Kiev regime with depleted uranium shells and expressed that their use by NATO forces in Yugoslavia had ‘very harmful consequences’.

The 8th Eastern Economic Forum will conclude tomorrow, Wednesday, in the Russian city of Vladivostok with the theme ‘Towards cooperation, peace and prosperity’.

The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation, attached to the president’s office.
