Last week, the New York Times, quoting anonymous sources in several countries, reported that the DPRK leader was planning to visit Russia this month to meet with Putin and agree on a possible arms shipment to Moscow.
Kim Jong-un’s first visit to Russia took place in April 2019 and was made in keeping with tradition by train.
At that time, Kim visited Vladivostok and met with the Russian president at the Far Eastern Federal University, where the 8th Eastern Economic Forum is also taking place.
