Addressing the 160th session of the Council of the League of Arab States in Cairo, Bou Habib stressed the emergency of raising awareness to address different issues including food and energy security.
The minister stressed the significance of strengthening common interests, including concern for dialogues, consultations, and coordinations.
Bou Habib noted that Lebanon is currently facing challenges as a result of the economic, financial, social, and livelihood crises.
He pointed out that the first consequence of the complex scenario is the difficulty in electing a president according to the Constitution’s requirements.
He expressed his willingness to complete the work and step up efforts to assume the responsibility of appointing a president to reconstruct the State and the economy.
