The Dominican delegation will be headed by the Deputy Minister of Consular and Immigration Affairs, Opinio Díaz; while the Cuban side will be chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez.
The exchange will make it possible to analyze the state of the migrants’ flow between both countries.
The delegations will also assess joint actions to discourage illegal acts associated with irregular migration, and guaranteeing a regular, orderly and safe flow of migrants.
The talks are being held in the context of an official visit by Dominican Foreign Minister Roberto Alvarez, who met on Monday with Cuban interim Foreign Minister Josefina Vidal.
