WHO´s latest data stated that over 1,800 Covid-19 deaths were reported, a 50% decrease compared to July.

Over the past month 39% (92 of 234) of nations reported at least one case to WHO, a proportion that has declined since mid-2022.

As of August 27, there had been more than 770 million confirmed cases and over 6.9 million deaths worldwide since the pandemic was declared.
