The representative of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance stressed that Washington uses those strategies against countries that refuse to submit in order to establish its conditions and dictates.

Incidentally, Damoush pointed out that the ongoing and strengthening US presence in northeastern Syria is to protect terrorist groups and reinforce the blockade on the neighboring country.

The official noted the steadfastness of the Syrian people and leadership to continue the struggle and foil the US plan.

In that regard, he pointed out that the US blockade against Lebanon to pressure the resistance environment failed thanks to the people’s patience and firmness.

In his view, spending billions of dollars to distort Hezbollah’s image will fail again, and incitement, misinformation and lies will not benefit them.

“Malicious media campaigns will not deter us from retaining the weapons of resistance and acting as dictated by the national Government,” Damoush assured.
