Payments will range from 375,000 pesos (about U.S. $465) to 1.5 million (U.S. $ 1,875) depending on the level of losses suffered.

The list of beneficiaries will close on Friday and payments will start on August 31. The most important aid will be unfolded when there is a complete assessment of the damage to housing, crops, animal husbandry and communication routes.
