The state news agency quoted the DPRK Embassy in Beijing as saying that the United States’ obstinate intervention has crossed the line, and the Asia-Pacific situation is worsening more than ever.

Washington persists in its “China” campaign and frequently conducts dangerous military exercises near Taiwan, mainly targeting China under the pretext of an imminent Chinese invasion of the island, the text denounced.

Taiwan is an inalienable part of the People’s Republic of China as UN General Assembly Resolution 2758, passed in October 1971, stipulated, the document noted.

The illegal conduct of the United States (about the issue) contravenes the right to self-determination of a sovereign State and international laws and is contrary to the will of 1.4 billion Chinese citizens to defend the sacred cause of national reunification at all costs,” the embassy pointed out.
