Greek party calls to boycott Western military plans

Athens, Aug 22 (Prensa Latina) The nations should react against the interference policy of the European Union (EU), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the United States in their plot against Russia and China, spokesmen for the Greek Communist Party (KKE) stated on Tuesday.

The denunciation is contained a KKE statement about the informal meeting of EU and Western Balkans leaders in Athens on Monday, local television reported.

According to the Greek Communist Party, the main objective of the meeting was to increase the active participation of the Balkan countries in the imperialist plans, especially in the military operations in Ukraine.

The Government of the ruling New Democracy Party is leading the way to achieve this goal after signing NATO agreements with Ukraine on weapon supplies a few days ago, the KKE pointed out.

According to the party, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also attending the meeting within the framework of these dangerous plans.
