KCNA news agency reported that Maduro expresses his greetings to the DPRK on behalf of the Venezuelan people and government on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Day of the Restoration of the Homeland.

On this day, I would like to extend the solidarity of the People of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as our wishes of prosperity and well-being to the brotherly People of Korea who, defeated Japanese imperialism, under the leadership of Kim Il Sung, who obtained the liberation of the homeland, the text said.

Maduro ratified his willingness to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and reiterated Venezuela’s support for the self-determination and territorial integrity of the sister DPRK.
