The Center for Information and Decision Support of Egypt’s Cabinet, which cited data from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, pointed out that South Africa and Ethiopia ranked first last year.
The agency noted that investments grew by 122 percent compared to 2021.
It also highlighted that Egypt ranked among the top five countries on the continent in the intermediate goods export sector in 2022.
Egypt’s exports grew 16 percent from 2012 to 2022, with India and Saudi Arabia as the largest recipients, according to the Center.
