Until midday there is no claim of responsibility for the attack, but all fingers point to Al Shabab, the armed Islamist group that operates in this East African country where it is trying to impose a regime based on the Sharia, the body of Islamic law.

The police report states that the action took place in the capital district of Darusaalam, just 24 hours after six people were killed and 12 others wounded in a similar action against a bus in the south of the country.

Al Shabab, loyal to the Al Qaeda network, in addition to organizing attacks and bombings in Somalia, is active in neighboring countries such as Kenya and Uganda.
