We have messages and statements from most of the groups considered terrorists that currently mention Sweden along with Denmark and the Netherlands in their press releases, Sjöberg noted in an interview with the TT channel.
In October 2010, Swedish security police SEP0 raised the terrorist threat level from two to three.
According to the head of the anti-terrorism unit, threat level three means that they are working hard to improve capabilities, which were too low in 2010.
When asked how well the Swedish police are prepared for the increased threat, Sjöberg replied that the country knows how to act in such situations and is much better trained, but no one can guarantee that attacks will not occur.
