According to him, Türkiye, being a signatory to the convention regulating navigation rules in the strait, will obstruct efforts to jeopardize it.

Ensuring calm in the Black Sea basin will be one of our priorities, the Turkish minister stressed.

Earlier, Turkish authorities reported that since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, not a single warship was allowed to enter the Black Sea and would be committed to the convention signed in 1936.
