During the international meeting in Saudi Arabia on the conflict in Ukraine, Doval ratified India’s commitment to resolving the crisis and promoting peaceful coexistence and global stability.

The official said that India keeps regular contact with Moscow and Kiev at the highest levels seeking a path towards a lasting and comprehensive solution, and urged all concerned parties to work towards that goal.

He also addressed the impact of the challenging situation facing the world and particularly the Global South, mainly due to geopolitical tensions.

The meeting in Saudi Arabia is attended by representatives from over 40 countries, seeking a just and lasting solution to the crisis, which has led to skyrocketing prices of food, fuel and fertilizers, without Russia’s presence, one of the parties to the conflict.

For analysts, the conflict would have ended a long time ago if the United States, NATO, and other countries did not continue sending weapons and combatants to attempt weakening Russia.
