The day began with a fruitful dialogue with the local authorities on the Municipal Development Strategy until 2030, its strategic lines and development programs, as well as on the state business system.

There he learned that the strategic lines of development in the Los Palacios municipality are focused, fundamentally, on achieving food sovereignty and food and nutritional security with the production of rice, various crops, meat and milk.

The territory also plans to develop sustainable local tourism, transform the energy matrix towards renewable energy sources, strengthen the technical scientific potential of the municipality and continue to protect the environment.
