In the daily report issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 27 of 1,115,056 people diagnosed with this infectious disease, caused by the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus, remain hospitalized with stable clinical evolution. No deaths or seriously or critically ill patients in intensive care in the country were reported.
The three new cases (two women and one man) come from the provinces of Mayabeque and Guantanamo, and were detected among 201 samples analyzed to verify the presence of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus.
In relation to the immunization strategy developed in the country, MINSAP pointed out that by the end of July 25, 45,477,696 doses of Cuba’s Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala homegrown vaccines had been administered nationwide, and that 10,028,146 people had received a complete immunization schedule, accounting for 90.8 percent of the Cuban population.
