The National Office of Seismic Evaluation and Vulnerability of Infrastructure and Buildings (ONESVIE) assured the meeting will be the perfect setting for particiapnts to share standpoints on seismic assessment of buildings and infrastructure under the Model Seismic Code for Latin America and the Caribbean.

During three days, experts from Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Turkey, Venezuela and Venezuela will be discussing key issues on this matter.

Specialists will focus on the search for uniform criteria on earthquake-resistant construction in order to collectively crack down on earthquakes and other natural phenomena that affect the region.
