In a TV program, Peña argued that Gimenez, as new minister has already been in charge of the Treasury, whilts Jara will remain as chairman of the state-owned energy company, which he had been in charge of until now.
Santiago Peña previously appointed the soon-to-be ministers of Foreign Affairs, Urbanism, Housing and Habitat, Justice, Defense, Public Works, Finance and Industry, Commerce, Education and Science and Money Laundering Prevention.
