Seismologists reported as many as 225 aftershocks so far, while the people used to the so called “hammock movements” seem undisturbed by the situation, although some of them are alarmed.

Local authorities maintain monitoring process on this phenomenon.

After Tuesday’s tremor at 6:22 (local time) in the afternoon with epicenter in the coastal area of Usulután (east). The aftershocks ranged between magnitude 3.5 and 5.4. On Sunday, a 5.1 magnitude tremor was felt.
