The organization issued a statement entitled “The imperialist war against Cuba fails catastrophically” on the occasion of the second anniversary of the destabilizing attempts organized from the United States, aimed at breaking the Cuban Revolution, and urging Washington to remove Cuba from the list of states sponsoring terrorism.
“The nations of the planet demand an end to the blockade against Cuba, and the peoples demand the elimination of the ignominious and arbitrary list of terrorism, which appeared on a willful whim of the United States,” they stated.
According to the pronouncement, the United States, in its recolonizing claims, cannot accept a sovereign country, with its own national project, rights, homeland, development, democracy; with the dignity to promote its own independent progress, defend and project it to brother nations with transparency and a universal spirit of cooperation.
The statement reminded that the sections of covert action, toxic propaganda and terrorism of the State Department, the White House and the United States Congress, plotted an uprising in Cuba in July 2021 using dirty unconventional warfare tactics.
The CBYLO referred to the events of July 11th, 2021, in another document, and warned that the imperialist attacks have not stopped.
The organization called on all progressive organizations in the world to be on guard, as new conspiracies and attacks against Cuban embassies in Latin America and around the world are being prepared.
The organization’s statement also stresses that they will never put aside the anti-imperialist battle, nor will they abandon the Cuban people, just as Cuba did not abandon the peoples of the continent.
