A report from the guild compares the performance with respect to the first months of 2022 and for a similar period in 2023, which also reported a reduction of 16.4 percent in physical exports.
The document pointed out that the requests for export of goods in June were for 860 million dollars, 30.5 percent less than in the same month of 2022.
In the accumulated of the year, exports of primary products fell 33.7 percent, compared to the same period of 2022, driven by a 76-percent reduction of soybean foreign sales, the text specified.
It added that foreign sales of industrial manufactures origin contracted by 3.4 percent in June and 7.4 percent in the first half of the year.
Manufacture of soaps and detergents, cleaning and polishing preparations, perfumes and toiletries, manufacture of plastic products and pharmaceuticals were among those that did not reported major outputs.
In turn, manufactures of agricultural origin suffered a drop of 23.3 percent in June, and of 17.1 percent in the annual accumulated.
