From his Twitter account, the head of State praised the diplomats for their new tasks that have been entrusted to them and stressed that “in them goes the voice of Cuba”.
In that social network, Díaz-Canel also mentioned a meeting he held with the heads of Cuban missions abroad, where he called on them to continue exalting revolutionary diplomacy, with collective innovation and proactivity, “in the effort of contributing to the current economic battle and the defense of the Homeland”.
At the meeting, the president urged to fight relentlessly against the blockade imposed on the island by the United States, denounce its devastating impact and degrade it with an active work aimed at expanding economic, trade and cooperation ties.
