If expectations are met, sales of these products abroad would reach a new record of 13.675 billion dollars by the end of this year, exceeding the 11 billion dollars in revenue of 2022.
Contrary to the behavior of most Vietnamese export products, so far in 2023, the sector of transportation means and spare parts, the second highest after fruits and vegetables, has exhibited high growth until mid-June.
So far this year, Vietnamese auto parts and means of transportation have been sold to 43 markets around the world, among which Japan and the United States stand out, accounting jointly for almost 40 percent of the total invoiced value.
Vietnamese exports in this sector have increased significantly in the last decade, going from 1 billion 578 million dollars in 2010 to 5 billion 844 million in 2015, and to over 9 billion in 2020.
