According to MINSAP´s latest report, 106 patients were hospitalized, 61 reported as suspected cases and 45 confirmed as active cases. All patients have shown a stable clinical progress.
Cuba has conducted 14,374,985 tests, 1,114,888 of them came back positive.
Out of the total number of infected patients, six were contacts of already confirmed cases and three others with no source of infection specified yet.
According to MINSAP, all people infected are under 20 years of age.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, Cuba´s overall death toll reached 8,530 (a 0.77% lethality rate) compared to 1% around the globe and 1.53% in the Americas.
