High estimation of the work of ministries in Salvadoran government

Confidence in the work carried out by the ministries of National Defense and Justice and Public Security stands out, due to the fight against criminal groups, the main achievement of the current administration, Diario El Salvador assured.

The work carried out by these ministries, the fundamental pieces in the fight against gangs, is highly rated, according to the results of the latest survey by the University Institute of Public Opinion (IUOPD) of the Central American University José Simeón Cañas (UCA).

National Defense went from a level of citizen confidence of 44.5 percent in the third year of Bukele’s administration to 49.4 percent in the fourth year, which ended last June 1, with an unprecedented citizen rating of 8.48 for the president, according to the Iudop.

Also the Ministry of Justice and Public Security increased from 42.2 to 50 percent between 2022 and 2023, according to the survey, which was conducted nationwide and has a confidence level of 95 percent, according to the data sheet presented by the pollster.
