The CTC delegation met on Friday with the president of the People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, Phan Van Mai, who reiterated the city’s willingness to encourage companies from the territory to invest in Cuba, and invited Cuban enterprises to look for investment opportunities there.

Van Mai also confirmed that that Ho Chi Minh City will send business delegations to Cuba to exchange experiences, provide technical and technological support, and help develop high-tech agriculture to guarantee national food security.

Guilarte, in turn, expressed desire to learn from Vietnam’s socioeconomic experiences, especially the reform policies implemented since the 6th National Congress of the Communist Party, and repeated the permanent support from Cuba’s leaders, people and workers for Vietnam.
