The military spokesman wrote on Telegram that the Russian artillery hit the 42nd and 63rd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, causing significant losses and destroying two infantry fighting vehicles and three pickup trucks.

In the Krasny Liman direction, the crew of a Smerch multiple launch rocket system struck areas of concentration of manpower and firepower of the enemy during the counter-battery fight, as well as destroyed two D-30 howitzers, infantry fighting vehicles, and pickup trucks.

Earlier, the Battlegroup Center in the Krasny Liman direction hit the 21st, 42nd, and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the settlements of Nevskoye, Kremennaya, and Chervonaya Dibrova of the Luhansk People’s Republic.

Russia has been conducting a special military operation in eastern Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

President Vladimir Putin said it aims to demilitarize and denazify the neighboring country and prevent Kiev’s attacks on civilians in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics.
