On Twitter, Marrero described the talks held during his visit paid to Russia as quite positive, and also claimed both sides will contribute to strengthen bilateral relations.

In statements to the press, First Deputy Minister Gerardo Peñalver also noted the meeting held in Moscow facilitated to make and go through the already deals reached between both nations back in November 2022.

Progress was also made in the high-level political dialogue, taking into account that both nations are strategic allies and are currently being affected by unilateral coercive measures, Peñalver pointed out.
