The forum, from June 26 to 30, will host more than 200 sessions and is considered the largest transdisciplinary meeting of researchers, innovators and funders in the field of sustainable development.

In various workshops, researchers will emphasize the defense of the biosphere, investigation priorities in climate science and biodiversity, ways to address water shortage on two continents: America and Africa, and Panama’s indigenous perspectives towards the protection of life territories by 2030, among other issues.

Personally and virtually, participants will also discuss citizen science and data for decision making and the situation of poverty, social vulnerability and urban resilience in Panama.

The goal of the congress is to bring together in Panama more than two thousand world leaders in sustainability research to promote meaningful solutions for society, transformations in the interaction of research and innovation, and collaborations for global change.
