The Indian dignitary will begin his official program in New York as the main figure of the celebrations for International Yoga Day at the United Nations headquarters on June 21st, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India said in a statement.
Modi will subsequently travel to Washington, where he will meet with Biden to continue their high-level dialogue. On June 22nd he will speak in a joint session of the US Congress at the request of the heads of the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, and the Senate, Charles Schumer.
During his stay in the United States, Modi will also be received by Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
In addition to official engagements, Modi is expected to hold meetings with top CEOs, professionals, among other US leaders and members of the Indian diaspora.
On June 24th, the dignitary will arrive in Egypt for a two-day state visit, invited by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with whom he will hold official talks.
The prime minister is expected to talk with Egyptian government officials, prominent personalities, and the Indian community in the country, the Indian Foreign Ministry informed.
