The president of the International Foundation for Horseback Riding and Equestrian Activities (Ficae) explained that it is an honor to attend and be part of an event such as Agrosciences due to the high level of organization and quality of the topics to be addressed.
Getting together different personalities from various specialties in order to add up in pursuit of a better future that analyzes all the perspectives, causes and reasons from both the agroveterinary and purely agricultural aspect becomes a great value of the Congress, she affirmed.
Regarding her presence at Agrosciences, Taja noted she will give two master lectures, one on horse characteristics for animal therapies and another on an assessment from a professional, scientific and clinical approach to equine therapy.
According to the president, using alternative medicine as a complement to specialties opens up a very large field of experiences with the purpose of exchanging criteria and strengthening alliances. In Cuba, despite economic limitations, there is good work with equine therapy.
Ficae is a foundation aimed at promoting and professionalizing equestrian therapies and interventions with animals from a scientific field from a multidisciplinary perspective.
The Fifth International Congress of Agricultural Sciences began yesterday at the Plaza América Convention Center, in Varadero, and will run until June 9 with the assistance of more than 600 participants from 15 countries.
